I’m a late bloomer when it comes to learning to drive (don’t ask, I’m ashamed enough as it is…and yes, I did the driving school thing, too). After one of a few test drives, I came home with my dad in one piece but I got honked at twice by two different people.
What is the legality of putting up a small, bumper-sticker sign in the back window that says “Student Driver?” Is it illegal? If I had a sign like that, I wouldn’t get honked at as much.

So I was leaving the school parking lot and noticed this really nice car but cant pinpoint what kind it is. The logo was very similar to the one of a toyota, it reminded me the shape of a cross and swirly and all that jazz. The one I saw was a really nice blue and it had a sticker on the window that said something starting with an e. On the back, there was a light on the trunk that was like a long strip, kind of the like the lights you see in lifesavers or lightsavers w/e the things from star wars are. Hopefully someone can identify it! Thanks!

Buying New Car Negotiate A Cheaper Price?
My Dad once told me about this bloke he used to work with who when he bought his new cars used to tell them to NOT stick a sticker advertising the garage he was buying it from.
If they wanted to put a sticker on the rear window-then he wanted a reduction in the cost of the car. This was because he seen this as an advertisement for the garage and he wanted them to pay him for this.
Would or does anyone have the ba**s to do something like this?
If they or you have was this a successful sales bartering technique ?

My car is overdue for it’s safety inspection (it’s a long story, I’m in the process of getting it repaired in order to pass).
If a cop randomly ran my plates on his/her computer in his cruiser car would it tell him my inspection is overdue?
I know that cops will randomly run people’s plates as they patrol around. Sometimes they’ll find someone who’s license is expired or that the car is reported stolen, etc. But can it tell them that my inspection is overdue? Or do they have to visually see the sticker on my window?
Anyone know?

I live in MA and bought a car in RI, about an hour and a half away. It supposedly passed RI inspection, but failed ME inspection due to a leak in the exhaust… We called the dealer who said they’d pay for it, but so that i didn’t waste a day and could go to work, i had it fixed locally at the garage that did the MA inspection. I sent all the docs to the used car dealer, who is know saying they won’t pay since the warranty form i signed says all warranty repairs must be done at the dealer. There was a red R rejection sticker in my window…Do i have any case against the dealer? a law about not crossing borders with a car that failed inspection? It was a $500 repair on a $5500 car…
what if the car is unsafe to drive?
I just bought a used car from a dealer,
and signed all those long contract and stuff,
and they said that the registration, and title will come in mail from the DMV, is that right?
They did give me a temporary registration sticker or something they put on my windows.
