Answer if you live in Louisiana?

So I recently bought a car and I do not yet have a break tag. I’m going to a party tonight, so I was wondering if it’s okay to drive without a break tag since I do not have one. On the window shield, I have two stickers, one with the vin number and the other says “service checked”. I don’t know if that makes a difference, but I was wondering if it was fine to drive without one.

my friend parked on the side of the road, and it got a notice from the law, police.?

she parked o nthe side of the road in a neighborhood and im guessing someone reported it, and it had a notice on the passenger side window saying that if its not moved within 24 hours it will be towed. and we moved the car, but now the sticker wont come off!! i cant believe they would do this. the car is a piece of junk, but if it was a really nice car and a sticker got on my car id be INFURIATED!!! theres a weird construction colored (like red and white, you know the ones that get bright at night if you have your headlights on it) on the back, and then the sticker on the window. neither come off! you can pick at it and pick at it, youll only get a verry tiny piece off!!

any solutions to rip this crap off?

Which SUV would be better: 2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS or 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2WD Laredo?

I have to get a SUV because riding in a car just doesn’t work for me. I’m torn between these two trucks and was looking for some opioions before I buy. It’ll be the only vehicle I have and I have to drive 2 hours to get to school(college) three days a week.

01 Isuzu Rodeo LS
160k miles
automatic
6 cylinders
AC
ABS
Cruise Control
Dual Air Bags
Power Locks,windows and steering
clean car fax
dealer sticker price $4500

04 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2WD Laredo
65k miles
automatic
6 cylinder
AC
Driver and Passenger Air Bags
ABS
Cruise Control
Leather Seats(a few areas are worn but no big deal)
Rear Window Defroster
Power locks windows seats mirrors and steering
has a very noticable dent and scratch in back bumper but clean car fax otherwise
dealer sticker price $6500

Which do you think would be the better buy or should I skip the both of these and keep searching? How much should I offer?

What does this logo mean?

When i bought my car it had this sticker on the window and I’ve been trying to figure out what it means… here is a picture of it…

Logo?

Why is the left so mean?

I did an experiment based on what I have read here. I put an Obama sticker in my window and drove around for a week. Not one single person honked or flipped me off or yelled at me. Great!

I then put a McCain sticker in the window for a week and WOW! EVERY single time I drove anywhere people were honking, flipping me off and screaming obscenities at me. I made sure to take it out of my window when I parked since I have heard of people keying cars with McCain stickers.

So empirical evidence shows that Obama supporters are far more childish, rude and nasty than McCain supporters.

Why do you think this is?

If you doubt my conclusion, I challenge you to try it for a week and see the truth for yourself.
I live in the Bay Area of California. A place known for being tolerant of others. It is not a poor area and has a good balance of republican and democrats though it does tend to be a little heavier democratic being in proximity to Berkeley and San Francisco. I drove all over town and had the same results no matter if I was in the very rich sections or the lower middle class sections. The Bay Area doesn’t really have many very poor sections and I wouldn’t drive in the ones that are there.
It looks as if many don’t believe I did this. To those that don’t believe, I DARE you to try it. But we both know you won’t because you know it is true. You won’t subject yourself to this type of hatred because you can’t handle the truth. The truth that your side is mean.

I have a question about car oil?

Whenever you go get an oil change, they put a little sticker in the top corner of the window that says “Next oil change 3 months from now or at ‘X’ amount of miles.”

I assume that means: “Get oil changed in three months, or before your odometer reads this amount of miles.”
In other words, you can take a lot of long road trips and accumulate a lot of miles, but that just means you may need an oil change sooner.
Am I right?
Is there EVER any reason to add oil to the engine yourself?

(I’m asking because I’m taking a lot of out-of-town trips this month and will be putting on a lot of miles.)

THANKS!
Thank you, Fred. No sarcasm detected there at all. And yes, I should be. Not only was I born in America, I was copy editor of my award-winning high school paper. I’m a little lax on the internets, however.

License tag problem. Expired tag and new tag both on the license?

This morning someone put a green sticker on my driver side window telling me I got expired tag and my car will be towed. When I check and it seem like my dad put the new tag on the left bottom corner of the back license but the expired tag is visible on the right bottom corner of the license. Is that gonna be a problem for me?
