What can i do to my car and not pay excess on my insurance? Read On Please…?

I Was going to paint the chrome V grille on my new corsa red and add a fake carbon fibre sticket to the side of the window on the door about 70cm tall and 12cm wide sticker, i will tell my insurance, but will i have to pay more for a sticker and some paint?
Sorry, you know carbon fibre? that look on a viynl, so its like one big carbon fibbre (fake) sticker to go at the side of the window on my door, and im paiting the chrome v on the front of the corsa the same color as my car.. red ??

    What’s a “fake carbon fibre sticket”?
    What is it you will tell your insurance company?
    Please expain a little better

    I don’t believe you will have to pay more insurance premium, but if you are hit the insurance company will not pay to replace any of your modifications, only the stock parts.
    However, If you intend to race it, you must notify your insurance agent.
