Today I was picking up my hubby from his VFW hall. He fought and was wounded in Panama and has PSTD and a rotator cuff injury and so he is member. And coming out of the parking lot this car with Obama stickers cut us off, so we tailgated them, flashed the light, honked the horn and swerved back and forth unti they got out of our way.
So we passed the Dems car, this little lib-type car and the guy was shaking his fist, so my hubby rolled down the window and threw his Big Gulp at the car and it exploded all over his windsheild. Then, the Dem came back and threw something at our car, a ways down the road, and they got pulled over for litter, it was awesome.
But that Dem really effected my hubby. He didnt appreciate someone throwing an item at him. Thats what happened in the war. He still hasnt full recovered. Why are Democrats so angry and hateful? He is out back chopping wood getting out his aggressions. I wanted to slap them so bad. Ever feel like this?
what the heck does that sticker in the back of people’s car window mean? i’ve seen it everywhere but no one seems to know what it means!
In ‘94, my mother bought for herself a little red Toyota pick up truck. This was her little pride and joy and no one was allowed to drive it unless absolutely necessary. She had a little farm and a small truck was needed for various reasons. She had taken Latin when Latin was a required course in school but she wanted to say ” I love my truck” in Latin and had to call Univ. of Fla. to have someone translate for her so she could tell the world how she felt about her truck by making a little bumper sticker . She was told to put ‘Me amo Currem,’ and she did , but that meant I love my chariot, so that has been on it since. . . Sept. of ‘08 she passed away at the ripe old age of 93 and gave her beloved little red truck to me. I want to make sure that is the best way to translate and I went to a translation website and there were too many words to pick for just one word and I really want to say it correctly. Too bad I never took Latin. Even then, I am not sure how to say it. I did see a latin word for truck, but how can that be? I believe the word they used was actually a verb as in to truck something around from one place to another. I dont know. Take a shot O very intelligent people out there and tell me what YOU would put on the back of the truck . I am honoring my mother by doing this.. and can you believe it only has 102,000 miles on it and is in perfect condition!. I can just imagine I might be opening a can of worms on this hope not, but I just want it to say ‘ I love my truck” or as close as one can get. I know there is no latin noun for truck, I mentioned that, but what is the word for chariot? does currum mean chariot?
I saw an offensive bumper sticker the other day: “Real men love Jesus”… and the first thought that came to mind was “real men don’t have imaginary friends”.

It isnt one of the ones that have a big “I” and then the red heart with the “love my firefighter” but it’s a white heart that has “I love my firefighter”. I saw one on a car and i want one badly!!
