I never saw this until recently, but now it seems like every other stop sign and other road sign has a series of number decals stuck to it. Thye don’t look like anything official from the roadworks crew so what are they? I’m in So Cal, BTW. These are not city ordinance code numbers or anything like that. They are haphazardously placed number stickers.

My friend and I love to make funny signs in big red letters and hold them up to drivers when you are driving. The best one we came up with was “I just got my first bra!” and we help it up to some old truck driver and he almost drove off the road laughing! Then he started pointing at us to other drivers and applauding for us. It was so much fun! Does anybody else have some ideas?
