I am a high school senior that has been working two jobs for the past two years trying to save money to buy a car. With all that hard-earned cash, I do not want to just go and spend it on the first car I see…I want a reliable var that will get me to school, work, and college next year. I looked at a 1998 Volkswagen jetta a few days ago and I really liked it. My mother works with the owner and so trusts him. The car has 94k miles on it and is in great condition besides a few catches…It needs a new inspection sticker next month and i fear the tires won’t pass. In addition, one of the power windows do not work. Besides that, the mechanic that looked at it for me said it was in good condition. It was selling for $3000 but he accepted my offer of $2300 with one catch, I need to let him know by tonight……
I am not sure whether I should buy this car, or pass it up and go to a local dealership and look. There is a saturn for sale at the dealership for $3200 that I like but it has 157k miles on it and is much more expensive. I really like the jetta and feel it is in good condition, but it does not have the benefit of warranties or guaranteed satisfaction/free inspection like the dealership does. What should I do???
Today I was picking up my hubby from his VFW hall. He fought and was wounded in Panama and has PSTD and a rotator cuff injury and so he is member. And coming out of the parking lot this car with Obama stickers cut us off, so we tailgated them, flashed the light, honked the horn and swerved back and forth unti they got out of our way.
So we passed the Dems car, this little lib-type car and the guy was shaking his fist, so my hubby rolled down the window and threw his Big Gulp at the car and it exploded all over his windsheild. Then, the Dem came back and threw something at our car, a ways down the road, and they got pulled over for litter, it was awesome.
But that Dem really effected my hubby. He didnt appreciate someone throwing an item at him. Thats what happened in the war. He still hasnt full recovered. Why are Democrats so angry and hateful? He is out back chopping wood getting out his aggressions. I wanted to slap them so bad. Ever feel like this?

I recently went to this dealership and this guy is a dealer who you know won’t bullshit you. I am stuck between a 1999 chevy malibu or the 2001 oldsmobile intrigue. The malibu has a scratch on the hood and would need touched up for an extra $200. It has a sunroof with 93k miles. It doesn’t run as smooth as the oldsmobile (I took it for a test drive.) The malibu has a cd/cassette player and so does the oldsmobile. The malibu has stickers on the back that can’t come off like University stickers. Also the control panel for the switches like windows is loose but can be fixed. The malibu’s glove box handle is alittle loose but can be fixed as well. The oldsmobile is alittle bigger, has no sunroof with 109k miles and has a cd/cassette player. Also the gas thing is on the drivers side. I heard malibus gas thing tends to rust. The oldsmobile has a keyless entry, its a/c just needs recharged. I really like BOTH! I’m probably getting the intrigue but which one do you guys think I should get?
I Was going to paint the chrome V grille on my new corsa red and add a fake carbon fibre sticket to the side of the window on the door about 70cm tall and 12cm wide sticker, i will tell my insurance, but will i have to pay more for a sticker and some paint?
Sorry, you know carbon fibre? that look on a viynl, so its like one big carbon fibbre (fake) sticker to go at the side of the window on my door, and im paiting the chrome v on the front of the corsa the same color as my car.. red ??
Am I not free to express my mind? 2 men gave me very loud horns for no reason. As I was parking my car in the grocery store parking lot, some stupid man came and knocked on my car window, when i opened window he said “you should be ashamed”. I said, “i don’t know who you are, leave or i call police”
food fight: i mentioned this in my previous question too.
i am next thinking of wearing “OBL death 110% hoax” tee shirt and entering walmart with it
inquiezet: that freak was knocking on my window and asking me to slide down the window glass. He has no right to interfere into my space or my territory. The law doesn’t give him the freedom for physical confrontation.
its light red altima
I just had my car inspected and it did not pass so they put a rejection sticker on my window. I do not believe my car should have been rejected. Can I just rip the sticker off and go to another inspection station?
Its not fraud if theres nothing wrong with the car…i am a mechanic myself I know for a fact there is nothing wrong with the car.
I recently received a letter stating that my car is suspected of being in a hit and run. The individuals stated that they were hit from behind and the driver passed them. They continued to follow the vehicle for a short while. Some days later, after driving by my apartment parking lot and seeing my vehicle, they said that they thought it was my vehicle that hit them and reported it to the police. The police officer looked at my car and saw no damage to my front bumper but also said that they only had $50 worth of damage to their vehicle. The thing is, my car had been sitting in my parking lot with a blown tire from July to September 24th when I got it fixed. The incident was supposed to happen September 6th. My vehicle was not in operating order at that time and there is no damage to my vehicle. Do they have a case? I mean there is no proof, only their word that it was my car. And if they followed the car for a short while they should be able to identify any bumper stickers and window clings not to mention should have written the license place number down. Since there is no evidence that my car hit theirs will they be able to charge me with a hit and run anyways?
I want to put an “evolve fish” sticker on my car along with maybe one or two other stickers showing my beliefs.
Do any of you have experience with this? Was your car vandalized in any way?
I also want to get this shirt, I’m not to worried about physical violence because I’m a 6′2 200 pound guy, but I want to know if you ever wore an atheist shirt what your experience was in public?
I’ve heard horror stories from both of these about car being vandalized, windows being smashed and having people threaten with violence when they wore shirts.
I find it sad that Christians can express their views, but an atheist can not without worrying about these things.
i bought a 2008 scion tc back in april of 2008 from a used car dealer. The car had 554 miles on it making it a used vehicle. I go to trade the car in 2 weeks ago to toyota to upgrade to a rav4 and the gentelman who inspects the vehicles before trading it in states the car was in a COLLISION back in Nov 2007 and therefore they cant take the car back. The whole back of the car has been replaced with after market parts the trunk the rear windows and the rear axel. To my shock i have never been in an accident im driving 13 years thank god. Went back to the dealer i purchased the car from and he said theres nothing he can do it was sold as used. No carfax was provided back then and now that im looking to upgrade no dealers want the car in trade. I have been told by a autobody shop owner that on the sticker its supposed to state collision repaired not sure if thats true or not but on the sticker it doesnt state that. What can i do as far as either getting out of the loan or getting rid of the car. Please advise.
