When I take out the stereo, there is the antenna and the stereo plug in (that I hook the wire harness to), but there is also a plug-in that is wrapped in gray rubber that plugs in to the left side of the factory stereo. I’m putting in a head unit and I don’t know what to do with this chord.
Thank you for your help Josh, but I’m sure that it does not have a cell phone adapter. When I looked at the strip of chords that I hook my harness into, there was no red wire for power. Could this plug be power? If so, how to I wire it to my pigtail?
hello i just bought a pair of white LED strip from ebay. i am not quite sure how to wire these. so this is what it think i am suppose to do. i looked under the hood and i see that i have a pair of parking lights which is perfect. i could wire up the LEDs to the parking light but i want them both to work at the same time. so i was thinking that i should take a knife of something and shave off a piece of insulation from the parking light wires and then solder the wires from the LEDs to the exposed portion of the parking light wires. then wrap them up in electric tape. this creates a Parallel circuit in switch both lights will come on at the same time.
agree? this is the only plan i came up with. let me know if theres a better way.
the whole point of my question is whether the procedure is right or not
As it turns out the officer that arrived on the scene never asked my daughter what had happened and only asked the woman that hit my daughter what the story was. The only thing he asked of my daughter was for her insurance information. Is this against standard procedure? I left work to go to the scene of the accident at a time when everything was already wrapping up and briefly spoke to the woman. The woman’s windshield was completely covered in ice except about a 10-12 inch radius of a peephole I pointed this out to her and she openly admitted to myself, my daughter and as I found out later to the tow truck driver that she couldn’t see because her defrosters weren’t working correctly and admitted fault to all of us. I pointed the iced windshield out to the officer and he said something to the effect of yes he noticed that and that would be considered obstruction of her view. According to my daughter she was making a left turn on a green arrow and one of the lanes of oncoming traffic was stopped at their red and the other had noone there and as she was making her turn this woman ran through the red and hit her passenger side. Unfortunetely the officer gave my daughter a ticket for failure to yield to oncoming traffic and as it turns out, (I just checked online public records) never gave the woman a ticket for her obstructed view. Long story short. is only asking one party for the information of the accident against standard Illinois procedure?
oooops I meant 10-12 inch diameter peephole (not radius)

I am using a threaded rod as a non moving axle. There are wingnuts glued to the cds which will be glued to the axle. This is so that when they move they slowly tighten to hit a stopper which stops the wheel. This part I have to have this way.
For the next part, I was wondering which design would work better:
About an inch out of the middle of the cds, I will have 4 dowels spaced out by 90 degrees. there will be a string attached to the mousetrap, and as the swinging part is set off, it will pull the other end which will be wrapped around the dowels.
My other design is that the 4 dowels are as far from the middle as possible, still 90 degrees apart. This time, the string would be around a single dowel (The others are to make setting it up easier) . when the force is transfered, the string will pull off.
Also- If you answer this (perferably by the 15th at 1:00, but no later then end of tuesday) with proof and how far you think each will go, I will award best answer to the first answer. the cds have a 14.8425197inch or 377 mm circumfrence (meters recommended, but not required.
When I found out on Friday that my dog was missing because my schizophrenic uncle opened the backyard gate, I went home immediately.
My dog is a small terrier mix and I got him around my birthday when I was in middle school and guess what my birthday is on April 2, which means he died 1 week before my birthday.
I found him on the edge of the street at first he looked alive (his eyes were open) but when I bent down to stroke his face I knew he was gone. He externally looked fine, which means he died from internal injuries. His limbs and body were stiff and cold which means he had been dead for at least 4 hours.
I wrapped him in a blanket and put him in a basket to take him home. When I came home, I wanted to look at him one last time and pet him. When I moved the blanket from his face his eyes were closed!
The next day around 10 A.M the department of sanitation came and picked him up.
What I want to know is that did he die instantly or laid there alone dying slowly waiting for me, because I come back from my dorm on Fridays to visit him. I miss him very much and he is my baby and little knight. I just want some answers for myself and little sister.
-Much Thanks.

Is it possible that I could be traumatized by that? I’m only 15 and I was home alone at the time.
My neighbors came out and helped me calm down enough so I could call my mom. They also moved Lily out of the road and wrapped her up for me. So they were a BIG help. The people who hit Lily didn’t even stop to help…The reason I’m asking if I could be traumatized is because I tried taking a nap and couldn’t get the image of her getting hit out of my mind,I also don’t want to talk very much and I don’t even feel like going to my grandmothers for Christmas eve dinner.
When my mother came home I couldn’t even calm down enough to tell her how Lily got hit and where.
So what wrong with me? Am I just in shock? I’ve never lost one of my animals this way….
